Join us on this journey through the High Atlas Mountains, from the Ait Bouguemez Valley (also called Happy Valley) to the Valley of Roses and continue by the Jbel Saghro that is part of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. These trails show a wide variety of landscapes and pass by 3 different rich and green valleys, a spectacular scenery through the magnificent gorges of this massif, considered the most beautiful of the Atlas.

DAY 1
ARRIVAL AT MARRAKESH
Welcome to Marrakesh!
Today we’ll meet you at the airport and transfer you to your first hotel in Marrakesh. Isn’t it a lovely city? In the afternoon, enjoy a little walk along in the city where you can see the great architecture and exotic colors, smells, and foods will make you excited for the days to come.
DAY 2
MARRAKESH TO TABANT
Discovering the incredible waterfalls of Ouzoud!
After breakfast, we leave in the direction of Azilal. Along the way, we can visit the waterfalls of Ouzoud, lunch in Azilal, and continue into the High Atlas. The trip is long, so our arrival will be in the afternoon, where we will taste the typically flavored teas of Morocco in our accommodation and where we will find our team of muleteers that will help us for the days to come. Before dinner in the hotel, we can take a walk to relax from the car ride and to get to know the traditional life of these Berber villages.
DAY 3
TABANT TO TIGHREMT N’AIT HMED
Rise and shine!
It’s time for an early breakfast and the start of our expedition. We’ll start by crossing a series of cultivated fields, and soon we will gain height to reach the pass of Ait Imi at 2.905 m. It is such a wonderful view over the valley of Ait Bouguemez, looking at the peak of Mgoun and several other peaks over 3.000 meters. Here we have an energetic lunch, and then we will go down to the lost valley of Ouzirimte.
DAY 4
TIGHREMT N’AIT HMED TO IMINRIKTE
Crossing the magnificent valley of Ouzirimt.
Today we’ll cross the magnificent lost valley of Ouzirimt, walking through the middle of the mountains and along the Mgoun River. Passing by a series of little earth-colored villages in the middle of the fields, we have the chance to meet the humble locals. Arriving at a lovely lunch in the shade, we take a little rest in this peaceful place before starting again and towards our camp in Imi Irkhte. These are also called the Mgoun Gorges (with 1.900 meters of altitude) and are considered the most beautiful gorges of the Central High Atlas.
DAY 5
IMINRIKTE TO TIGHANIMINE
A refreshing day!
Today we’ll have a refreshing day as we put our feet in the water to cross the magnificent gorge of M’goun. Be prepared with some sandals or extra walking shoes and remember to have fun in this pure and cold mountain water. After, we’ll look for the brightness and the warm sun rays and dry our feet while eating a nutritious lunch just before we continue to our camp for a deserved rest.
DAY 6
TIGHANIMINE TO BOUTAGHRAR
Today is all about experiencing the daily life of the locals.
The stage is dedicated to walking in the fields cultivated by the locals. Patches of green in the earth colors it is beautiful to walk in the heart of crops and fruit trees like fig trees, apple trees, and the so typical almond tree. Under the welcoming sun, we’ll arrive at Bourghrar, close to the village of Tamgalouna, to enjoy one more lunch prepared with dedication by our team.
DAY 7
BOUTAGHRAR TO TAGDILTE
A day to relax.
Here we are in the middle of our tour, and it is time to relax. It’s a day for sightseeing as we visit the little village of Kelaa Mgouna, meet the people and taste some more flavors of Moroccan food. We’ll take some time to visit a cooperative of rose products and the Valley of Dades with its impressive gorges. In the afternoon, we’ll meet again with our support team and their sweet and strong mules for another night under the marvelous starry sky of Morocco.
DAY 8
TAGDILTE TO ALMOU N’OUARG
Towards the valleys of Saghro.
After breakfast, our stroll through the massif Saghro starts from the village of Tagdilte (1.660 m). Towards the valleys of Saghro, we start along the river with a nice climb until Jbel Saghro, where we can enjoy a beautiful view over the Boulmane area and the massif of Mgoun. We continue until Almou N’ouarg, a place where you can meet the Ait Atta tribes and experience their culture and how they live their daily life.
DAY 9
ALMOU N’OUARG TO IGLI
The summit of Jbel Sarho – Kouauch.
From here, we will make our push to the summit of Jbel Sarho, which is named Kouauch. We will relax for a bit at the top, bask in our accomplishment with a snack and take a few pictures of the breathtaking scenery. As we descend from the summit, we will stop for lunch in Tassigdelt. Then we will continue to the village of Igli, where we will spend the night camping near the nomadic people, among almond orchards.
DAY 10
IGLI TO BAB N’ALI
Exploring different landscapes.
We continue our trek leaving Igli and following the River Afourer. This river has an extraordinary mineral setting, probably one of the most beautiful sceneries in the Saghro. After a picnic lunch at the beautiful valley of Aqqa’n Oufourar, we continue our trek through some gorges until we reach our campsite at Bab n’Ali, a beautiful landscape of rocky peaks, but not before visiting an extraordinary waterfall.
DAY 11
BAB N’ALI TO NKOB
Throughout remote locations.
At this time, the warm colors of the desert have become familiar, and our day continues traveling through this remote location. We’ll start our journey from Bab N’Ali and then cross Tadaout – Ntiblah until we arrive at Ifourna. Here we’ll say goodbye to our adventure and start our ride back to Marrakesh. The journey is long, so our transfer will only take us until Nkob to spend the Hotel.
DAY 12
NKOB TO MARRAKESH
It’s time to return to the busy and bustling city of Marrakesh.
After breakfast, we have a long day ahead of us. About 40 kilometers away, you’ll reach the upper part of the Draa Valley, one of the large valleys in Morocco with its immense palm tree grove and its old adobe buildings in a style that imitates the old Kasbahs. Cross the mountain and go down to the plateau of Ouarzazate, where we stop to eat and visit the Kasbah of Taourirte, a symbol of the city and UNESCO’s top eight wonders of Morocco. Finally, we cross the High Atlas by the Tizi n ‘Tichka, arriving by the afternoon to Marrakesh.
DAY 13
MARRAKESH
Visiting the electric city of Marrakesh.
An extraordinary cultural day awaits you, as we dedicate this day to the magnificent city of Marrakesh. This is one of the most visited cities in Morocco and is protected by 19 kilometers of walls (whose colors vary between pink and red), nine monumental gates, and 200 square towers (Borjs). They used to protect their sultan Youssef ben Tachfine in 1062, and now they welcome everyone to this exciting city. We have a guided morning and a free afternoon to visit this magical city. The Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Djemaa el-Fna Square, and the sixteenth-century Saadian tombs, which are among the best examples of Islamic art, thanks to the elaborate decorations and cedar ceilings of the mausoleum. It is time to explore!

DEPARTURE
And that’s it!
Yes, this amazing journey has ended, but the memories will stay forever. Our guides will transfer you to Marrakesh airport, believing that you had a very nice experience and enjoyed every moment.
